My hybrid approach means I photograph your day while also capturing natural video moments as they happen.

Based in Cambridge, I photograph weddings across the city and nearby venues, offering relaxed, documentary-style coverage alongside a beautifully edited 3–6 minute highlight film. This brings together the atmosphere, emotion, and in-between moments you might otherwise miss.

It’s not about producing a long cinematic wedding film, but about capturing the feeling of your day in a natural, story-led way. Working solo, I move seamlessly between photography and video, focusing on the moments that matter most.

Photography will always take precedence, so at times I may need to choose between capturing a photo or filming the same moment. To help you understand how hybrid photography works, I’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions about the service. If your question isn’t covered in the FAQ below, feel free to drop me an email.

You’ll receive a 3–6 minute edited highlight film – no raw footage is included. Alongside this, you’ll receive your edited photos as outlined in your chosen photography package, delivered via a private online gallery. And of course, you’ll also get me capturing your day in a relaxed, natural, and fun way, as an experienced photographer with a degree in media production.

Filming is handheld, natural, and candid, using cinematic lenses and drone footage where permitted, and is edited with instrumental background music. It may include slow motion, audio from vows or speeches where available, and occasional cinematic techniques depending on the venue, lighting, and moments captured.

Yes – we’ll have a consultation before your wedding, along with a final check-in a few weeks prior, to go over any key moments you’d like prioritised for photo or film. While I always do my best to capture everything, working solo across both photography and film means it isn’t always possible to capture every moment in both formats, and nothing can be fully guaranteed due to timing and logistics.

Photography is always the priority, with film captured alongside it to complement your photos and highlight the key moments of your day.

Hybrid photography is currently available at a special introductory offer of £500 for 2026/2027 weddings, for bookings made in 2026.

This is a new add-on for weddings booked in 2026, and I’m currently offering it for a small number of bookings while I build my portfolio. As such, I don’t yet have a full selection of hybrid films to share, but examples will be available soon on my . YouTube channel as I begin to showcase recent weddings.

Photos will be delivered first, typically within 8–10 weeks. Your highlight film will then be edited and delivered within up to 6 weeks after your photos are delivered.

Guests arriving, décor details, final preparations such as buttonholes and flowers, ceremony moments including vows and the first kiss, confetti, candid guest interactions, portraits, the first dance, and drone footage of the venue where permitted. I always aim to capture all the key moments, but as I’m working with both photo and film at the same time, this cannot be guaranteed in every format.

No, unless you want full wedding footage. Hybrid isn’t full videography, but it captures all the highlights beautifully. As a photographer will never be able to provide a wedding video in the same way that a videographer can. Due to time constraints and logistics, it would not be possible to provide a full-length wedding video.

As I work alone capturing both photo and film, not every moment can be recorded in both formats, and while I always do my best to capture everything, some choices must be made on the day due to timing and logistics.
