about my approach
Time to warm up. Space to be themselves.
No two children are the same, and I don’t expect them to behave a certain way just because we’re having photographs taken.
I use games, gentle prompts and a little encouragement when it helps, always following your children’s lead rather than forcing smiles or asking them to perform.
That’s why my outdoor family photography photoshoots in Cambridgeshire allow up to two hours. Some children feel comfortable straight away, while others need a little time to warm up, explore their surroundings and get used to having a camera around. There’s time for breaks, play and cuddles, without feeling rushed or watching the clock.
Some of my favourite photographs happen in the moments between the planned ones — the unexpected cuddles, silly games and little interactions that show who your family really is.
A little about me
Family photography is where it all began.
Before photographing weddings, I started out capturing families, and it’s still a huge part of who I am as a photographer. Having photographed families for over a decade, I love capturing the personalities, connections and little details that make every family unique.
As a mum myself, I know how much you want beautiful photographs of your family — the ones that capture this chapter of your lives and that you’ll look back on for years to come. But I also know how easy it is to end up behind the camera, taking the photos rather than being in them. You deserve to be in those photographs too, making memories with your family rather than just documenting them.
Born in Cambridge, I know the local area and its beautiful locations well. From the countryside around Wimpole and Cambourne to picturesque spots in Cambridge, Royston and Huntingdon, I can help you find the perfect setting for your family photoshoot across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.

Newborn – £650
Your baby’s first moments are precious, and we are here to capture them beautifully. Our Newborn Photography Session is designed to celebrate your baby’s first few weeks with delicate and timeless portraits that will last a lifetime.
Capturing those super fresh tiny toes. The sessions are best carried out between 4 and 14 days, however we can still take these gorgeous pics of your baby up to around 21 days old. After this time, whilst your baby tends to get much more exciting for you, for us being less sleepy and more sensitive to touch makes sessions harder to carry out.

This is a relaxed, documentary-style photo session where you can simply be yourselves. No posing, no matching outfits, no tidying up.
