A Stunning Setting at Haughley Park

During a warm August, Carly and Terry’s wedding day at Haughley Park was nothing short of magical. Set against the stunning backdrop of one of Suffolk’s most beautiful Estates, the day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Despite the occasional raindrop that tried to dampen the celebrations, nothing could stop the joy and excitement that filled the air.

For Terry, the connection to Haughley Park was particularly special. Having spent parts of his childhood nearby, the venue held a deep sense of nostalgia and personal significance. It was as though fate had brought him back to this cherished place, this time with Carly by his side, to celebrate one of the most important days of his life.

The Heart of the Day: Their Little Girl

But the day wasn’t just about Carly and Terry, it was also about their little girl, who is the absolute centre of their world. She filled the day with giggles, hugs, and smiles, bringing her infectious joy to the ceremony by giving Barbie to Mum to hold, and Dad a hat during his speeches, she had everyone laughing. There was also some tears of joy as Terry surprised Carly with a slideshow during his speeches, of photos of their journey together.

The Weather: A Touch of Magic

The weather, however, had its own plans. Though the sun peeked through the clouds for much of the day as the children played lawn games, the rain decided to make an appearance. But it didn’t faze Carly, Terry, or their guests. The soft drizzle couldn’t stop the smiles or the celebration. Instead, it only added to the charm of the day, with the couple embracing the weather with grace, laughter and umbrellas of course. The rain did stop shortly after, and we managed to get some stunning couple portraits in the stunning gardens, with Terrys special move, The Dip, which he nailed everytime, well done Terry!

A Secret Stash of Flowers and Confetti Magic

Carly’s mother had grown and dried the flowers from her own garden, saving a secret stash. This special collection was reserved for the first dance, and at the end of Terry and Carly’s dance, the confetti was launched, creating a beautiful and unforgettable moment which they had no idea about!

Here’s some highlights from their day…
